Academic Performance

Important Session Information:

Written composition is the "final frontier" of language development, but for many students, the journey from thought to paper is full of roadblocks. Whether you are working with a 1st grader discovering descriptive writing or an older student in need of intensive intervention, this course provides the blueprint for success.

In this Neuhaus-provided training, we cover:

  • The Big Five: Descriptive, Narrative, Process, Compare/Contrast, and Persuasive structures.

  • Refinement: Proven techniques for editing, revising, and enhancing quality.

  • Support: Designed for K-5, but essential for any Special Education teacher or Interventionist (K-12) dedicated to closing the gap in written expression.

This session is free for Special Education Cooperative members.
