Early Childhood
Virtual: TTESS in Early Childhood for Teachers

Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) provides assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of a school readiness integration model of coordinated funding that brings school districts, Head Start programs and child care providers together in a mixed delivery model.  ESC-20 also provides leadership to ensure the effective regional implementation of appropriate instructional strategies in early childhood settings through technical assistance and professional development in the areas of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum and supports parents with Pre-Kindergarten information and eligibility criteria.

Important Session Information:

This series is designed to help teachers bridge the gap between early childhood best practices and formal TTESS evaluation criteria. Participants will move through the language of the TTESS rubric alongside the TTESS Early Childhood Instructional Leadership tool with visual examples to help guide their pre- and post-conference conversations to connect developmentally appropriate early childhood examples with TTESS expectations. This is a six-part series made up of 1 hour virtual sessions. Please plan to attend each session.
