Cancelled: High Quality PreK Series: Family Engagement Plan



Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) provides assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of a school readiness integration model of coordinated funding that brings school districts, Head Start programs and child care providers together in a mixed delivery model.  ESC-20 also provides leadership to ensure the effective regional implementation of appropriate instructional strategies in early childhood settings through technical assistance and professional development in the areas of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum and supports parents with Pre-Kindergarten information and eligibility criteria.

Important Session Information:


High Quality Pre-K Components require that school systems post a Pre-K specific family engagement plan to their website by November 1st of each school year. We will review the statute and share a template that includes all the required components, as well as a process for engaging stakeholders to assist in the development of a plan.
