Write Idea was developed by the experts at the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at Scottish Rite for Children, Write Idea is a research-based curriculum specifically designed to bridge the gap for students who struggle with written output. While many students present with co-occurring dyslexia and dysgraphia, this session focuses on dysgraphia as a distinct condition requiring its own specialized instructional toolkit.
Participants will explore the five core components of the program: handwriting (posture, grip, and formation), phonics, spelling, orthography, and written expression. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how to deliver simultaneous, multimodal, and explicit instruction to move students toward writing automaticity.
At this time, only the Take Flight/Bridges–aligned add-on module is available for students concurrently receiving Take Flight or Bridges.
