Ready to take your Grade 4 math instruction to the next level? Join us for an immersive exploration of the Grade 4 TEKS designed to transform student outcomes. The Texas Mathematics Academies Deep Dive goes beyond the standards to examine the critical learning progressions and checkpoints essential for student mastery in whole number operations and fraction concepts. Engage in classroom-ready activities focusing on whole number multiplication, division, and rational number addition and subtraction through a specialized toolkit of key questions, instructional moves and strategies to support learner variability. Participants will walk away with a robust toolkit of research-based strategies designed to bridge the learning gap and strengthen your instructional practice.
Teachers who attend the Texas Mathematics Academies Deep Dives outside of contract hours may be eligible to receive a stipend from their district (TEA guidance: $50/hour).
Stipends are administered and paid by the district. Please confirm eligibility and obtain approval prior to attending.
