In this session, you will learn about the nature of gifted students, identification measures to find students with potential and performance, Social-Emotional concerns with G/T students and program options that meet their needs.
Participants will analyze the recently approved SBOE requirements for Gifted and Talented and review content required in the Texas State Plan for Gifted and Talented Students.This workshop meets Texas state requirements for six hour G/T administrators and counselor training.
This will be an online Zoom session, a separate email will be sent with Zoom info. Note: Please be aware that for credit a final assignment will be given to be done once the zoom portion is over.
