Important Session Information:

The rise of Generative AI has created a fascinating, messy new landscape for gifted learners. While some G/T kids use it to quietly bypass tedious tasks, others view it with much hesitation, worried it threatens authentic human voice.

This interactive, face-to-face session skips the basic tech tutorials so we can pull up a chair and talk about what matters, facilitating fast, low stakes ethical dilemmas that hook a gifted learner’s need for abstract thinking while protecting original, critical thought.

Don't worry if you don't feel like an AI expert yet as this is a relaxed, collaborative space to chat with fellow educators, and challenge your own thinking.

Whether you've messed around with ChatGPT or Gemini, or are just curious, your perspective belongs here. We’ll look at how AI processes information, debate future-focused dilemmas, and swap practical ideas to turn these tools into a personalized cognitive playground. If you are looking for a fresh, meaningful conversation on where education is heading, this is the room you’ll want to be in.

Session can count as a G/T 6 hour update or replace a Day 4 or Day 5.
