Important Session Information:

Language can be described as the key to unlocking a child’s connection to the world. Language delays are the most common type of developmental delay. One in five children learn to communicate using language later than their same-aged peers. Language delays are often associated with increased difficulty in socialization, emotional growth, and literacy development. When a language delay is present, there is no “downtime.” We must find hidden linguistic opportunities in our daily routines and seek out ways to infuse language into all times of the day. Let's explore these strategies.
