In this hands-on, 3-hour workshop, you will practice, view, and analyze ways to teach gifted students different methods to evaluate historical sources objectively.
We will review some discussion protocols and practice questioning techniques in order to assist students with building sharp media literacy skills needed in our quick and ever changing world.
Participants in this session will examine two connected and relevant projects that can be used to hone these skills, using TPSP projects. Leave this session with ready-to-use discussion protocols and solid ideas to elevate your advanced learners' independent research skills.
This session is in-person at ESC Region 20 and counts as 3 G/T Update hours, which can be combined with any other 3 Hour Update.
