ESC-20 provides professional development and technical assistance to support educators with implementation of the Mathematics TEKS by analyzing data to enhance instructional practices to meet the needs of students, and provides targeted support to reach campus and district goals.

Equip your students to move past finger-counting and cognitive overload by designing engaging, research-backed math routines. In the session Building Mathematical Fluency and Automaticity, educators will explore the critical difference between rote memorization and true mathematical fluency. Move beyond flashcards and worksheets and learn how to build true mathematical fluency and automaticity from the ground up. This interactive workshop explores the developmental trajectory of math fact mastery—from physical modeling to abstract retrieval.
