Welcome to ESC-20's BRIDGE Network (Bilingual Responsiveness in Identification, Decision-Making, and Guided Evaluation)!
For the 2026–2027 school year, we are excited to launch three evaluator network groups designed to support collaboration, professional growth, and specialized learning across evaluation staff. These quarterly networks will provide dedicated spaces for evaluators to strengthen practice, engage in meaningful discussion, and build connections with colleagues across the district.
The BRIDGE Network is intended for bilingual evaluators engaged in advanced practice and focuses on linguistically responsive evaluations, complex decision-making, procedural accuracy, and leadership in supporting multilingual learners. Throughout the year, we will be exploring a variety of topics related to enhancing evaluation practices for emergent bilingual students including:
- Evaluation considerations for Emergent Bilingual students for Dyslexia and Dysgraphia
- Critical Skills for Assessing EB Students: Language Matters
- Executive Functioning in Multilingual Students
- Applying Exclusionary Factors when assessing EB
