Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, all students will be required to opt in to Direct Admissions as a graduation requirement in Texas! In the 89th legislature, Senate Bill 2314 established My Texas Future to help public high school students research and apply to Texas institutions of higher learning. Join us to learn how My Texas Future platform  integrates with ApplyTexas, makes it easier for for students to prepare for post-secondary readiness and how counselors will be able to track this new requirement for graduation.
