Active Engagement in the Math Classroom



ESC-20 provides professional development and technical assistance to support educators with implementation of the Mathematics TEKS by analyzing data to enhance instructional practices to meet the needs of students, and provides targeted support to reach campus and district goals.
 


Important Session Information:


Are all students truly engaged during your math lessons? In this session, participants will go beyond "turn and talk" to explore effective strategies that increase engagement, participation, and accountability during direct instruction. Discover practical routines and structures that ensure every student is thinking, responding, and making sense of mathematics throughout the lesson.
