This one-day 4-hour course, presented by Union Pacific, will focus on railroad operations, motorist behavior, safety practices on rail corridors, officer safety around trains, grade crossing collision investigation techniques and enforcement strategies to reduce incidents involving railroad corridors.
A goal of this course is to establish a core group of law enforcement personnel to become “Subject Matter Experts” on rail safety and enforcement for their jurisdiction.
