Important Session Information:

Transition from traditional A-to-Z word walls to a speech-to-print framework aligned with the Science of Reading. This practical workshop guides educators in shifting their classroom environment from visual letter matching to phoneme-grapheme mapping using interactive sound walls.

Participants will explore the articulatory phonetics behind speech sound production—learning how mouth shapes, voicing, and airflow help early readers connect what they hear to what they write. Educators will learn step-by-step methods to construct, unlock, and daily interact with a Consonant Chart and Vowel Valley. By bridging phonemic awareness with explicit phonics instruction, teachers will leave equipped to turn their classroom walls into dynamic tools that accelerate orthographic mapping, decoding, and spelling accuracy for all foundational learners.
