Special education experts Dr. Andrea Ogonosky and Elvin Houston will hit the Texas highways this fall, bringing you the annual school law updates you need to get the new school year started off right.
This year the focus is on special education eligibility determinations, specifically how to get it right when dealing with mixed or borderline data and multiple learning, behavioral, or neurodivergent challenges. Recent interactions between school districts and TEA indicate increased oversight and corrective actions regarding special education disabilities determined actions and correct balance of data.
Elvin Houston of Walsh Gallegos Kyle Robinson & De Los Santos P.C. will provide the legal guidance you need, and Student Support Superstar Dr. Ogonosky will show you how to put that legal guidance into daily practice. Learn how to use multi-sourced data effectively, make consistent and appropriate choices, create clear documentation, and reduce risk when making difficult decisions.
Register your full leadership team: administrators, counselors, special education staff, school board members, and central office team. This workshop is for everyone!
