Now that you have had an opportunity to examine your role and begin your First 30 Days Action Plan, it is time to take a closer look at your local G/T program. During this interactive working session, participants will review their district’s G/T handbook, identification procedures, and service design for clarity and alignment with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students. Participants will identify strengths, determine areas for follow-up, learn from other coordinators, and develop practical next steps for strengthening their local G/T program.
Participants should bring their current G/T handbook or program guide, board-approved policy, identification procedures, and service-design documents. Attendance at Part 1 on Sept. 2nd is not required. New G/T coordinators who did not attend the first session are still encouraged to participate.
This session will be a Zoom session from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. You will be receiving a Zoom Pre-Registration Link. Please fill out with your District E-mail.
The documents and submissions will be through Google Classroom on the day of the session. It is highly recommended to have your personal Google Account ready in the event that you are not able to join with your District E-mail.
G/T Coordinators/Directors are the intended audience for this session
