How do you identify students who need support before they fall behind academically or behaviorally? Proactive support begins with timely, objective data. Universal screening is the cornerstone of a functional Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), empowering educators to spot early warning signs and allocate resources equitably. This interactive virtual session equips school leaders, interventionists, and educators with practical strategies to strengthen screening protocols for all learners—including emergent bilingual students and those at risk for dyslexia. This session was created by the TIER Statewide Initiative in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency and will be co-presented by TIER Certified Trainers who serve in the roles of Strategic Integration Liaison and Special Education Liaison with expertise in the areas of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Special Education for Meaningful Access for students with disabilities.
This is a virtual session, please come prepared with technology that will provide you the ability to have your camera on, engage in breakout room conversations and other virtual learning and processing activities.
If you have any questions, please contact us. We are happy to help!
