Important Session Information:

Title: VIRTUAL Connecting Students to Community Support: Understanding CRCGs

Target Districts: Statewide

Target Audience: Adults working with students with complex needs

School districts often support students whose needs extend beyond what schools can address alone. Community Resource Coordination Groups (CRCGs) bring together community partners to help coordinate services and identify resources for children, youth, and families with multiple or complex needs.

This virtual learning opportunity will introduce school personnel to the role of their local CRCG and how these community-based teams can support students who may benefit from services beyond the school setting. Participants will learn how CRCGs work, when a referral may be appropriate, what types of needs may be addressed, and how schools can connect students and families with their local CRCG. The session will also highlight practical strategies for strengthening collaboration between schools and community partners to help ensure students with complex needs receive coordinated, wraparound support.
