The ESC-20 School Safety Program provides training and technical assistance to school districts in the comprehensive development of school safety programs.
The TEA established the Child Abuse Reporting and Response Team (CARRT) as a specialized division within its investigations group to handle reports and responses related to child abuse.
This session will feature a presenter with the CARRT to help district personnel understand their role and responsibilities regarding the reporting of child abuse in a timely, proper manner within the scope of Texas legal mandates.
The intended audience for this presentation includes district personnel in leadership roles at both the executive level and campus level. Human resources personnel are also encouraged to join the virtual presentation.
