Prerequisite: Introduction to AI for Teachers
This course will provide an introduction to Google’s Gemini Notebook tool (originally called NotebookLM). Gemini Notebook is unique in that it uses source materials that you add in generating responses. You add your own sources (Google Docs, Slides, YouTube Videos, Text, websites and more) and Gemini Notebook utilizes those sources in responding to prompts, creating a customized podcast, videos, slide decks, infographics, and a variety of instructional materials in your choice of languages.
Why Gemini Notebook? If using Gemini Notebook within your school account, Google will not use your chats or uploaded information to train their AI model. Humans do not review chats and all interactions with Gemini Notebook remain within your school’s domain.
