The Dyslexia Intervention Program includes 146 systematic, sequential lessons designed to be used with students with dyslexia in grades 2-12. It meets all the criteria listed in The Dyslexia Handbook Revised 2014 and is based on Orton-Gillingham and other sources.
During days 1-5, participants will learn how to implement the program. The last three days continue working on program implementation and deepening the participants' knowledge of how children learn to read (specifically in the areas of phonology, spelling, and advanced decoding). The last 3 days will also provide additional instructional practice.
Teachers attending these 8 days of training will receive all the materials necessary to implement the program with a small group.
