What paves the path to the identification of a Specific Learning Disability in Reading?  This workshop explores the diagnostic nature of learning disability identification in the academic areas associated with literacy.  Join us to find out what cognitive brain functions are the keys to discovering patterns of strengths and weaknesses in reading, and explore how to use this information to formulate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that are specifically designed for each student.  Learn how to connect cognitive skills that underlie disabilities to classroom instruction and accommodation for increased effectiveness.
