Dr. Gail Cheramie, renowned Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), returns to ESC-20 to tackle some of the hottest topics in the field of special education disability evaluation.   Dr. Cheramie will address the best practice model of early childhood assessment and intellectual disability using case-studies as examples.  When should an evaluator utilize the Non-Categorical Early Childhood (NCEC) disability condition?  How should the standard error of measure be applied to IQ scores?  How low is “low” when considering adaptive behavior? Join this session to address these questions and more related to evaluation practices of young students with disabilities and those exhibiting developmental delays.
