Important Session Information:


Participants will engage in highly interactive activities for practice in the application of language development skills in their own classroom.  The session focuses on using language forms and functions by using the language processes that the students are expected to use in the classroom already.  Participants will have an opportunity to examine the TEKS, College and Career Readiness Standards, and the Cross Disciplinary Standards, which will provide a better frame of reference for which to target language development in the classroom in preparation for the discourse and dialogue expected today.
