G/T 6 hour update - Infusing Technology into Learning Menus for G/T Students

The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:

Learning Menus are one of the most integral ways of providing G/T Students with Differentiation in the Mixed Ability Classroom.  A challenge that arises is, how can we combine the effectiveness of Learning Menus with the allure of new advances in educational web 2.0 tools.

Never heard of Learning Menus?  No worries, we got you covered!

Participants will be challenged to look at their curriculum in ways that they can transform learning experiences in a manner that will entice learners to reach new heights on success.  Participants will leave with a learning menu that they can definitely use with their students the next day!

This training can take the place of G/T Day 3, 4, or 5 or a G/T 6 hour update if you have not taken this training in the past.

Please bring charged technology to this session.
