Dyslexia, the Diagnostician, and the FIE



ESC-20 provides resources, training and technical assistance for evaluators. Quarterly contact group meetings for LSSP’s and Educational Diagnosticians are also provided.
 


Academic Performance

Important Session Information:


This session will provide educational diagnosticians and Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSPs) with the additional knowledge needed to identify students with dyslexia. Participants will engage in activities to enhance their understanding of the characteristics of dyslexia and engage in discussions about the related state and federal laws. Participants will analyze case studies to practice looking for patterns of strengths and weakness that indicate dyslexia.
