This session will focus on strategies for optimizing academic performance in the inclusive classroom. Too often a “one-size-fits- all” approach is used to design lessons, leaving some learners struggling to participate and leaving teachers feeling they have not reached all of their students. This training will help participants apply principles of differentiation and specially designed instruction by exploring a number of collaborative, active, and brain-compatible learning techniques aimed at engaging students and making learning joyful.
In addition, learners will expand their understanding that students served in special education must have specially designed instruction. Discover why a positive attitude, understanding learning styles, and brain research can make you rethink the way you teach. Be prepared to move, have fun, and fill up your toolbox!!!!
This training is offered as a full day.
