Flipped Classrooms: Strategies to Support Struggling Learners



ESC-20 provides training and technical support related to inclusive services for students with disabilities to gain access to the general curriculum. These supports provide strategies so students with disabilities are actively involved and progress within the general curriculum and on state assessments.

Are you trying to find a way to embrace the new technology age? Would you like to increase student engagement while meeting the needs of all your students, including and targeting students who receive special education services? In this workshop, you will learn all about using technology through a flipped classroom. Be prepared to learn the following:

    • Identify and select from an array of techniques and tools to help ensure that students engage with digital learning content;
    • Implement a plan to evolve how you are using class time to review, reinforce, and further personalize learning;
    • Be prepared to increase active learning in the classroom; and
    • Demonstrate familiarity with a variety of tools to create interactive flipped learning content.
