ESC-20 provides training and technical support related to inclusive services for students with disabilities to gain access to the general curriculum. These supports provide strategies so students with disabilities are actively involved and progress within the general curriculum and on state assessments.

Important Session Information:


Classroom accommodations help students grasp the concepts, whether a student is receiving special education services, 504, RtI, ELL services, or other informal programs at the district or campus level. This session is designed to help clarify what supports can be used on the STAAR assessment so that teachers can plan to appropriately fade the supports, document what supports are effective, and help the student use the supports independently. The goal being to provide each student with the right mix of supports and strategies for the best opportunity at success in the classroom and on the STAAR exam.
