AAC Device Funding in Texas



ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for all areas of Assistive Technology. An assistive technology lab is available for previewing assistive technology equipment and/or checking out devices for evaluation purposes.

Important Session Information:


This workshop will discuss the funding possibilities in the state of Texas for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. It will give participants options as to where to pursue funding and also discuss the requirements that will be needed to pursue each of the options available.  Resources and templates will be provided so that a participant will be able to successfully understand and complete the required funding process to submit to a particular funding source.  The goal of the workshop is that a participant will understand the process of submitting for third party funding for AAC and know what is required.
