Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.


 


Academic Performance

Important Session Information:


This session will provide "new" school counselors with background information on HB5, personal graduation plans, and course pathways needed for guiding students when choosing an endorsement.  We will discuss graduation requirements for the Foundation plan, Foundation plan with endorsement, and Foundation Plan Distinguished.  Participants are encouraged to bring electronic devices to ensure a more interactive experience.
