G/T Online - Day 4 - Setting Standards for Success of G/T Students



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


This online course will provide learning about assessment used to measure student growth and the quality of a district’s services for the gifted. The Texas Performance Standards Project is explored as a mechanism for reaching the goals set forth by the Texas State Plan for the Gifted. NOTE: This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or 6-Hour Update if not previously taken

You will have from January 8, 2018 to February 2, 2018  complete the course
