The Texas Performance Standards Project is the State recommended way to provide services for Gifted and Talented Students. These projects were created purposely to help enrich the curriculum for your G/T Students while incorporating the TEKS and College/Career Readiness Standards. Too often, projects become "Extra Work" for G/T Students. In this interactive workshop, you will explore ways to embed the Texas Performance Standards Project into your curriculum and perhaps enrich your own current projects to help them meet the state recommendations for services for Gifted and Talented Students. It is recommended (not required) that you have taken the TPSP training before attending this session. NOTE: This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or 6-Hour Update if not previously taken.
This training is only for teachers of Pearsall ISD.
Training will take place at Pearsall HS in the High School Library.
