G/T 6 hour update - Solving for x: Finding the Missing Variable in the G/T Math Classroom

The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:

What does instruction look like for G/T students in the math classroom? Come learn some creative strategies that translate in the math classroom. These strategies will help you to differentiate instruction for ALL learners, but specifically target the gifted student who might become “bored” in your class. You will leave with ideas to implement in your classroom immediately.

This training can take the place of a G/T Day 4 or 5 for Foundational Hours.  This session can be a G/T 6 hour update if not previously taken.
