Special Education Curriculum & Instruction
Supporting English Language Learners with Disabilities

ESC-20 provides training and technical support related to inclusive services for students with disabilities to gain access to the general curriculum. These supports provide strategies so students with disabilities are actively involved and progress within the general curriculum and on state assessements.

Important Session Information:

Join us for this two day professional development opportunity.

During day one, participants will understand the unique needs of English learners with a disability and how a lack of proficiency in English impacts their ability to access and make progress in the general curriculum.

Day two will build on the information from day one. Participants will learn the additional steps that should be taken to ensure an appropriate IEP is developed for a student learning English.

No registration fee.
This training is paid for by the Statewide PGC Network Grant from TEA.

This training is designed to target students with disabilities served in general education settings, but will assist teachers with all struggling learners in all settings.
