ESC-20  provides training and technical assistance to districts/charter schools in the areas of: Federal Program Updates, Completion of the Consolidated Application SAS and Performance Based Monitoring.

Leadership Effectiveness

Important Session Information:

TEA’s Cory Green, Associate Commissioner of the Department of Contracts, Grants and Financial Administration, will present at ESC-20 on the federal procurement standards under the new EDGAR. Although the new EDGAR has been in effect for a few years, subgrantees still have questions on how to ensure compliance with the regulations, especially in the realm of procurement.

Cory Green will provide the latest updates on guidance from USDE and TEA, including topics on the procurement methods, purchasing under cooperatives, and purchasing from your ESC. He will provide information on best practices, based on results of TEA’s desk audit reviews.

Please send any questions you may have on EDGAR procurement in advance by participating in an anonymous survey, accessed at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XXV8G93

Submit the optional survey by January 11, 2018, for the questions to be addressed by TEA at the workshop.

Participants may attend in person or via webinar. Seating is limited for onsite attendance.

To attend in person at ESC-20, please register in Connect20.

To participate via webinar, do NOT register via Connect20. Only register via link below:
