G/T 6 hour update: Response to Intelligence



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Serve Gifted and Talented students within the RtIntelligence framework. This session will go through the RtI process for Gifted and Talented students including strategies for each tier of instruction. During this session participants will learn about RAFTing, TIERING assignments, Individual Lesson Plans, and implementation of drama in the classroom. **Participants need to bring curriculum for upcoming instruction to this session** NOTE: This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or 6-Hour Update if not previously taken. It is recommended that you bring charged technology to interact with training documents electronically. Fees: $0 G/T Coop $50 Non-Coop
