ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for professionals serving student with dyslexia. Students with dyslexia usually experience difficulties with other language skills such as spelling, writing, and pronouncing words.

THIS SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELLED SINCE THE DYSLEXIA INTERVENTION PROGRAM (DIP) IS BEING REVISED AND IS EXPECTED TO BE RELEASED FROM THE PUBLISHERS BY EARLY SPRING 2018.

The Dyslexia Intervention Program includes 146 systematic, sequential lessons designed to be used with students with dyslexia in grades 2-12. It meets all the criteria listed in The Dyslexia Handbook, Revised 2014 and is based on Orton-Gillingham and other sources.

During days 1-5, participants will learn how to implement the program. The last three days will provide the participants with an in-depth understanding of how children learn to read.

Teachers attending these 8 days of training will receive all the materials necessary to implement the program with a small group.
