Important Session Information:

Summarization Made Simple is a practical, hands-on workshop designed for teaching gifted students, as well as all students, strategies that will make content stick. Students today must learn facts, but they must also be information archaeologists; digging for information, making sense of it, and attaching meaning to it. Summarizing is a learned process of deleting, substituting and keeping information. It leads students to the comprehension and retention, which is the goal of learning.

Please bring charged technology to the session to interact with course materials.

NOTE: This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or 6-Hour Update if not previously taken
