In this highly interactive session, participants will utilize the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) and other effective differentiation strategies to appropriately service and provide enhanced instructional opportunities for servicing giftedness in CTE (career and technical education) courses and programs. Participants will have opportunities to plan rigorous and relevant projects for all CTE courses and programs focused on both lab based and extern based CTE Practicum programs.
Participants should bring samples of student projects (pictures of larger projects), their own device to access the internet, ideas and lesson plans to use as a starting point as they build a lesson to take back their own classroom.
This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or a 6-Hour Update if not previously taken.
