Important Session Information:


This session addresses several key issues related to the Academic Achievement Record (AAR). Discussions include graduation requirements in Texas (for all students). Session will discuss the various special education graduation options and PEIMS graduation codes, special education course naming issues, and AAR coding requirements. The Revised Minimum Standards for the Academic Achievement Record for 2012 (the most recent TEA document) will be discussed.   

Districts/Charters are strongly encouraged to attend as a Next Step/Action Team consisting of a general and special education supervisor/administrator, registrar, counselor, master scheduler, PEIMS contact, administration, transition/VAC personnel, and anyone else involved in or responsible for transcripts/AARs.

Participants are encouraged to bring electronic devices to access online resources and ensure a more interactive experience
