Today students are producing online content that is mostly social in nature. What if we can turn that skill into a productive and long lasting valuable product? Digital Portfolios allow students to keep record of their progress through years of schooling in addition to providing a forum for reflective practice. Students are also able to document progress in projects and/or competitions thus building a strong career and college readiness foundation.
At the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Create their own professional digital portfolio with a variety of digital tools
- Model reflective practice for their students
- Show Distinguished evidence on T-TESS ratings
- Shift towards a Student Centered learning environment
Note, Participants are asked to bring: laptop with power cord and digital content (photos and files) to add to a portfolio.
Note: Some resources to be used are Google Sites, Weebly and Wordpress
