Today's classrooms are filled with diverse learners who differ not only culturally, but also in their cognitive abilities, background knowledge, and learning preferences. Faced with such diversity, many schools are implementing differentiated instruction in an effort to effectively address all students' learning needs. In this training you will focus on:
• Small group instruction vs. whole class instruction;
• Planning for small groups and stations;
• Managing and controlling small groups and stations; and
• How the general educator and special educator can support small group instruction and stations in a collaborative approach within the inclusive classroom.
