Counseling Services
College, Career, and Military Readiness Summit

Professional development for counselors is aligned with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Standards and Competencies and with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Comprehensive, Developmental Guidance and Counseling Program Standards (Pre-K - Grade 12). Topics will be addressed to assist school counselors in developing the four components in their school counseling program: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning and System Support.

Important Session Information:

The College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Summit will provide a best practices approach for supporting students to navigate post-secondary and career success. From cradle to college and career, so much must be accomplished to promote and help students not only recognize the need for post-secondary and technical skills to prepare everyone for lifelong success but also to persevere in the face of challenge. Participants will hear from a variety of speakers who serve in both rural and urban areas, get answer to the most pressing college and career areas, and find out about successful initiatives that are working. 

Early registration of $50 thru November 30, 2018.

Registration cost on December 1, 2018 will increase to $125.  Registration deadline is February 1, 2019.
