Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often experience difficulties in the area of Executive Functioning. Problems in this area can manifest themselves in many different ways. Some individuals pay attention to minor details, but may fail to see how these details fit into a bigger picture. Others have difficulty with complex thinking that requires holding more than one train of thought simultaneously. Some may have difficulty maintaining their attention, or organizing their thoughts and actions. This workshop will equip participants with practical strategies for addressing these skill deficits and help the learner with ASD to manage their instructional day.
