This course is designed to provide participants strategies for feeding therapy. Research and results of food exposures will be explored and resources will be shared. Steps will be taken to recognize the following: Keeping Interactions Positive, Stepping into the Child’s Shoes, Strategies for Driving Hunger and Setting Boundaries, Knowing When and How to Wait. Proactive steps will be taken to understanding how to support gross and fine motor skills and ways to adapt food. Focus will be placed on the Three E's: Exposure, Explore and Expand.
