Cancelled: IEP Development for Students with Low Incidence Disabilities

ESC-20 provides training, technical assistance, and resources that support programs serving students with low incidence disabilities (severe and profound cognitive disabilities, medically fragile, deaf/blind).

Use of Quality Data to Drive Instruction

Important Session Information:

This session will consist of a comprehensive training on individualized education program (IEP) development as related to students with significant cognitive disabilities created by a nationally known consultant and author. The training will include case study activities and videos for practice and follow up with interested participants. At that time we will review current IEPs using a rubric. In a final coaching session following the next annual ARD, the rubric will again be used to score and provide data on improvement and address any continued weaknesses.

Presentation notes will be distributed online through your email address listed on Connect 20, 1 to 2 days prior to the training so that you can choose to print the documents or bring an electronic device.
