This session will guide special educators through TEA guidance and best practices in Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) statements, Individual Education Program (IEP) Goals, and progress monitoring.
Participants will have the opportunity to practice building strong PLAAFPs and Goals and are encouraged to bring information for a student with an upcoming IEP meeting. No student information will be shared with others and this is not a mandatory requirement. Participants who do not bring student information will be provided with mock student information for practice.
