Migrant Education
Project SMART Training- San Antonio



The Migrant Education Program supports migrant students succeed in school and successfully transition to postsecondary education or employment. The ESC-20 MEP provides various levels of support to local education agencies (LEA). 
 



Important Session Information:


Project SMART: Making Mathematics Meaningful is a Texas summer math migrant program created by the Texas Education Agency in collaboration with the Education Service Center, Region 20. This workshop will provide information on Project SMART for summer 2018. This is a Migrant Education Program training and all teachers who will work with this program must attend this training as the curriculum has changed from last summer.

This training in open only to Migrant District Staff and teachers hired to work with Project Smart or are employed as an ESC-20 Migrant Funded Tutor.

This training will cover all program updates, curriculum standards, and lesson format. Educators will also gain access to the Project SMART Portal to download lessons and assessments.
